I called Martina, and the cake in shape of a book will cost around 1000Kc. I am sure she will do a great job.
Just a few comments. We are now considering to fly all included Hanka and boys. With the price on internet now it will cost about $2300 for the whole family. We would fly in on Fri and come up on Tue for the dinner. But that's in planning and thinking stage.
I had an idea, that's crazy, but I like it. We should not show up until the dinner, and Renca with Jirka should bring mom to the restaurant, and she will see us there. I know she could be shocked, but that's the true surprise.
I agree we should use paper plates and plastic ware. Transportation must be individual, we cannot have any organized way of transportation.
Please, consider not to use the home phone with an exception of incoming calls. In past we had negative experience being accused of not paying, and for some reason the record that was kept was always undermined. Internet is not working, and that's good news I guess.
Breakfast foods are available on the wide scale. They have cold cereal, hot cereal, but nothing is better than Czech bread with SOJANA. hehehe. It's vegan as well.
I don't know what would be an appropriate charge for a meal. Maybe we should split the shopping bill between adults, and we will not count kids, because they don't eat much. Or we can count my 2 boys as an adult. I understand, that this trip will be pretty expensive for all of us. If possible, I'd like to stay at the house, from what I read here, Ika and Kamil are planning on logging somewhere else. Zuzu didn't say, but I think you are planning to stay with mom, Eva and Casey need to say where they want to stay, Rachel and Zigi too.
I called Tomas, but he wasn't home. I don't care how many Czech and English songs we will sing, "Someone is praying for you" is already translated, so Zuzu it might save you an effort. I want to encourage to pick familiar songs that mom likes. It is great to look forward to this event. I appreciate everybody's participation.
Have a great day
Rene
