I agree with Ika that it will be hard to pick only 10 songs for the CD. I propose that each one of us pick our 10 favorites and then the committee selects 14 songs for the CD. After we then obtain music, we can weed out a couple of songs whose difficulty level will become apparent and which we can then eliminate. That will also give us a chance to balance the variety of songs on the CD and if needed take again one or two songs out and that will leave us with 10 songs.
Also, my understanding is that the CD is for mom first and then for the rest of the people. So if we are doing morning program (for mom) and then evening program (with the songs from the CD for mom) they will be repeated. The CD songs should build a foundation for both morning and evening program that will meet our objective--which is time of reflection on our past as one family through songs.
